FDPPI started its tradition to honour professionals during IDPS events with awards in 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has been the motto of FDPPI that by honouring these professionals, we are honouring ourselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first person to be so honoured was Mr Srinivas Poosarla, in 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n

In IDPS 2022 there were three categories of awards namely Privacy Knight, Privacy Crusaders and Privacy Champion and FDPPI Member Award. (Refer video<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Privacy Knight: Mr Alok Arora<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Privacy Excellence Award: Advocate Mahendra Limaye<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Data Protection Crusaders: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vinod Kumar<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manoj Kumar Srivastava<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2023, five awards were given in the category of Privacy Knight, Privacy Squad, Privacy Champion, and Privacy Advocate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, in 2023, FDPPI separately honoured Justice Sri K.S. Puttaswamy with an award and title of “Privacy Pitamaha” to recognize his special contribution to Privacy by petitioning the Supreme Court case ending with the DPDPA 2023 becoming a law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
